This life with chronic pain..
Is just that..
One very bitter pill to choke down.
And choke down
And so on.
And.. for some..
They/we have to beg for the bitter pills to swallow.
... just saying..
Yes..
This is a HARD road
( as I've mentioned repeatedly..
A bud of mine here calls it... SO aptly .. " the Iron Road"
And.. that it surely is.
Which is why..
In addition to empathizing..
We MUST lift.. when we can.. each other.
Sometimes I can prop you up..
Sometimes you can be my crutch ..
We CANNOT all just give in
( not all at once, anyway..
Then we're a rock instead of a raft
On these turbulent waters
Oops..I mixed my metaphores
.. went from roads to seas.
But.. y'all get it.
'Cause... you GET it.

I know this is stupid, but after not being able to find a job after graduation for almost two years, I ended up just taking an online teaching job because I couldn't find anything in my field. I was trying to get out of teaching and I feel so devastated. I felt this crushing feeling when I signed the paperwork and when I was in the meetings. Our lives are a daily struggle and a daily blessing. Every time we wake up, we have been blessed with a new day to improve on from yesterday.

I know that.. on the occasions when someone sends me a message or hug .... saying that I helped them in some way..
It gives some meaning to a day that might otherwise have been withut
