Well I went to the ortho and after 2 weeks he took the cast off. It seemed like he couldn't wait to get me out of his office. Maybe it had something to do with his colleagues diagnosis of "nerve" pain instead of a fracture. I don't know. Anyway he told me to go into a strong support shoe and if I was doing a lot of walking to keep the boot in the car. I was really excited. No cast, no boot all the time....Yay. I didn't put the boot on the next day and I started to feel pain again. So just to be sure I understood the doc I called his nurse to verify what he said. She checked his notes and he claims that he told me to either wear the boot full time or a support shoe. He didn't tell me that prob because he was in such a hurry to get me out of there. So I am back in the boot, which is a lot better than the cast, but in the boot none the less.
Have I mentioned how much I distrust doctors?
