I've been fighting a mild depression for a few months now and feeling discouraged. Then i catch up on my friends' journals and think OMG these folks are going through so much! Its interesting to see how each person deals with the challenges.
So am asking, today what is your biggest challenge and how are you dealing with it? Note this is not necessarily about cfs, what is happening in your life and how are you doing?
For me biggest challenge right now is exhaustion. I have job stress, financial stress and worrying physical issues. I think sheer exhaustion leads to anxiety and depression, which makes not so big challenges seem monumental.
But i am a strog believer in faith, i believe in an active faith so i will think, over analyse, stew, vent, try to find solutions... But i always know that when i am not able, i am not alone. This helps me to pull out of despair and focus on hope.
Please share, somehow when you understand that others have challenges too, it gives you courage for your journey.

Dealing with grief is exhausting, add that to fibromyalgia, and life is very difficult. I'm back in therapy and trying not to brood. The different groups on DS have made a great difference, internet support. It's wonderful.
We say in Yiddish, if everyone hangs their troubles on the clothesline, we'd all take our own back in. I don't think anyone would exchange for my troubles.
