So I'm about to leave a doctor's office.....when a nice lady came out of a doorway and saw me all stooped over.
She said, "In all the years I've known you I've never ever seen you in this condition, this is not good hon!" She gave me a gentle smile and took my arm, opened the first door, escorted me through.....held my arm through the waiting room, said, "God bless you, be careful." She waved at me as I turned to look at her standing there. I don't remember ever seeing her before in my life.
I've been going to this rheumy for years,since the late 90's. It's such a curious thing. I don't know this face..this voice. I don't feel worried and that's what worries me. I feel very comfortable, not afraid or concerned.
I'm not processing something correctly....like when I mix up my words or when I am driving and come to and have to think "Where am I" oh....huh, OK...I know where I am, just not where I wanted to go...shoot!
Does this happen to you? Can you relate? I am no longer in an environment where I see a lot of new faces...sheesh...done now, hugs.

Nobody wants you to think you are slipping in the brain area!! We have enough trouble with everyday fog!! If this was a lady you had seen more than five or six times....something would have clicked in your brain. You wouldn't have zero recall!!!
