Sometimes I just want to run away to spend some time by myself away from everything. If I could heal my spirit, maybe my body would heal too.
Having him here makes me more lonely and alone. Broken is a good word to describe how I feel. I would love to go somewhere and lie on the beach just to soak up the warmth. But, I have to get there and pay for it. Two things my husband controls. He's going to Florida for a long weekend and then in May he's going to California to go to baseball games with his brothers.

Serce, that is so beautifully written. I need to copy it and read it several times a day...'cause of course it would take that many times to remember it..lol. The way to happiness lies within, I know that, and could easily find it when I could do for others. It's called Purpose.
Now I have no purpose in life...no friends...stuck in a house that's no longer a home...see no one other than my hubby who totally ignores me because it's easier since I no longer have anything to contribute to his life. Unfortunately, I AM defeated......and I despise feeling this way!
Whether one lives alone or not there are challenges. I am recalibrating my thoughts & emotions (T&E). I can't change others, but I can change me. It is not easy (for me) to break habits of a lifetime, but I am determined. I am claiming peace, joy and contentment. Letting go of what doesn't work makes room for these goals. My spirit is worth it.
