Still being able to read. Very happy about that. Many days, for many months, I could barely read at all.

The Chicago Cubs having a great season. Being their loyal fan is not always easy. LOL.
Daily Strength. The developers of DS are almost as amazing as the creators of Gluten Free cookies.

I also love picking a colander of fresh veggies in the garden and making a nice stir-fry for myself...hard to beat that. Last night I had okra, long beans, onion, and Malabar spinach in the stir fry. Made a nice roux with whole wheat flour; added water, nutritional yeast, spices; simmered a bit, then poured it all over a big bowl of cooked rice. Mmmmm.
So being sick isn't all bad...nearly all, but not all bad.

There's a vegan spread (I'm not vegan btw) called Annie's that's one of my favorite food on earth. Over short grain brown rice or with avo on a rice cake. Yum!
