Hi folks
I've noticed a few spats between folks responding to other folks. The negative energy makes me feel bad.
I think its fair to say most of us feel like crap a lot of the time, we feel depreseed, we are grumpy, we get wild mood swings, we are short tempered... so sometimes our responses are sharp, defensive...
But this is WRITTEN media. We can type up a response, WALK AWAY, reread it before we post.
Folks are here to find support, encouragement, validation .. a listening ear. We are here trying to help each other through a nasty illness ..many of us are going through the roughes phase of our lives. Our opinions will differ and THATS OK. All opinions are valid .. we don't have to rip each other apart, because no-one has the right answer .. if we did this board would be obsolete.
Spreading the gift of PEACE over all by DS friends .. I appreciate all your perspectives and experiences.

Someone always chimes in and tells everybody to "hold up", "calm down"....and that's what happens. If anything really got nasty or out of control DS would shut the discussion down. I've seen that happen exactly four times in eight years.
I think the people here are used to good, helpful, upbeat discussions. I think we give and give and give all the advice and counsel and personal experience we can.
If you run into someone who disagrees with you, so be it. We're all different. As you said, we will have differences of opinoin. We're all human with different life experiences. I welcome those differences. I learn from them.
I guess I feel that I need to defend this site! We do not fight here! We agree to disagree and move on.
I would be lost without the tender souls on DS. They have given me hope when no one else did. If someone hurts my feelings, I let them know by PM and we work it out.

I have never seen fighting... I have received only luv and experiences of what others are going thru and what they are doing for their personal journey...
