I am just beside myself with what to do. A while ago I called the domestic relations office about my case since they found out where my child's father is living and they called the kentucky child support about my case and said they are swamped. They basically are giving me the run around with my support payments and demanded that my domestic office send the paternity test results to them.....as if they did not believe that he was my child's father. He knows that he is. Apparantly he's telling Kentucky state that he's not the father and giving them the run around so he doesn't have to pay. Is there another way I can go about to get the support money that's owed to me?

If he has been paying you for over 24 months, whether he is the father or not it is implied liability. Write them a letter, send them a copy of the support order.

well in my experience, a paternity test has to be done. Even if he says he is the father. I already had a paternity done and it took about 16 months before they even got to him. He might not be denying that he is the father, is just that a paternity has to be in writing. He will go to court and a judge will tell him if he has to back pay or not. Is jus a matter of just waiting.

I had the paternity test done ages ago. Where he is in kentucky asked for a copy of the paternity test. I don't know why they would need it but they even told him he didn't have to pay me out of his unemployment compensation and the last time he was unemployed I got something and this time they are denying me. I just don't understand.
