Like I don't already have enough on my plate....now I am dealing with a "friend" of my mother who has started calling me to tell me that my mom is not happy in the personal care home. And about how she wants to be home. She needs to mind her own business. Or maybe she wants to move in with mom and telI me how that works out for her. I will no longer be answering calls from this friend. JUST VENTING :)
I work this phrase into things when trying to get my dad to do the right things: "I want you to be able to live in your house for as long as possible" The implication is that if he does not lose weight after his hip surgery, get ramps installed, get an alert button etc etc etc that he may have to move out sooner than he would want.
