having a lot of trouble

i'm having a lot of trouble with taking care of my mom and dealing with family. she's living with me now.  i'm totally overwhelmed and exhausted.  my fmaily is using me.  there's no one to help me. i can't handle it anymore.  i am going crazy.  please help me.

Can you get Community Health where you are or respite care for your mom??

then you should be inquiring with the senior citizen groups about how to get support and we are here too....I do not know all but think SunCloudJD gave some thoughts that are good....

how bad is mom's health? is she at least ambulatory? does she stay in bed 24/7 or in and out of bed and wheel chair? of course this is stressful when non of the others will offer help but they need to know the limits of what your capacity is to help and where they will need to start throwing money in to cover extra costs.....

Ive been thru similar too. I was a single mom, pregnant and my mom was dying of cancer. I had no help. The only thing i cud do was put one foot in front of the other. There is a light but it may take awhile. Reach out to hospital, hospice, social workers, community programs for help. As hard as itvis now the more u can do the quicker some relief will come. Hang in there. Most of us are stronger than we think.

Hi Wendy, I'm so sorry for the difficult time you're going through with your mom and in your family. I can definitely relate to a lot of this being a primary caregiver for many years.

Is it possible for you to reach out to friends or to your pastor or church family if you belong?

I know you love your mom and want the very best for her in this situation as she would for you. It can't be easy watching her age or in pain and she may also be considering with how this is affecting you as well.

I'll be praying for endurance and for God to send you the resources you need. As for your family, I also pray for hearts bent towards support and understanding. Be encouraged. Grace and blessings.

    Once again I've had a fever today. I'm not going to the hospital because that's a huge waste of time but I did schedule a dr appointment for Wednesday afternoon.
