i haven't postd in awhile as it was always the same stuff, my mother and her evil,giult ridden ways. well yesterday i had such upsetting news about dad, something i have down played because i couldn't think that way. he was on his way to the doctors, he has been there so many times, driving alone, he insisted, he is 91 and drives allover town and such, but he missed a turn and ended up 25 minutes away!! driving on busy highways and it took many calls, thank god he had his cell phone on, to get him to a spot where he could go in and ask where he was. my sister heard him through the phone yelling, as is usual, what country am i in how the hell do i get to Albany?? they finally pin pointed where he was and tld him to stay. his friend picked him up, they were to have lunch toghether which he still did, and my sister drove his car home. when i learned all this last night it was all about my mother and how itruined HER day, how anxious she was and worried, she was a mess and i said how do you think dad felt?? it was like she didn't hear me, i couldn't wait to get off the phone with her and she was surprised when i wanted to talk to dad. he was upbeat and said do you want to hear it all again, i said no thanks. we talked about how confusing it all is and how one wrong turn can so mess you up, trying not to make him feel bad. my mother does all she can to make fun of his memory loss, makes fun of him, but he will stick up for himself when he knows she is lying. this has shoke me badly, i need to face the facts that he is getting bad and he should not be driving anymore, i love him so much, it makes me sick to my stomach.
