my brother is the sole executor of my parents finances, health, estate, everything with my sister and I totally out of it. In a nice functioning family where siblings got along no problem but this is not the case. susan and I strongy feel that mom and dad go to assisted living, there is a nce place right in town, they would have activiites, all their meals extra. they are slowly dying in the house, my mother is useless, annoying, crying, complaining, makes fun of dad and is so critical, and I am the main source of her "worry". I loveit when she tells me that. not. the had a meeting with the law firm who holds there assets and they were reassured they had enough money to live there, all was fine at that time, it was a go. however big brother pat had a screaming rage filled attack after lawyer left to my sister and to my mother. they can not move, just look at them. he let it slip once before that he wants all the money, so that is why he wants them to stay home. it is an accident waiting to happen. they are not eating proplerly, my mother has givien up cooking for the most part, fine, but they will not have someone come in and drop of a dinner, to expensive! they will not go against pat, I believe it is out of fear. I am very afraid of him, if he isn't high he is filled with anger and rage. I am supposed to go t the next meeting when things are finalized with the firm, my sister wont go and she wants me to open my mouth, I am afraid to, I know I will cry but I cant stand him and what he is doing to them and us. they need to be somewhere safe. my mother has driven us all to the brink of craziness, cant even stand to be around her, god help me for saying that. just don't know what to do.....

If he doesn't have your parents best interest at heart then he should be challenged. I'm not qualified to tell you what can and can not be done here legally so I would talk to the professionals.
Talking to a lawyer does not mean you have to go any further! The lawyer may be able to explain law to you to the point where you can either accept what your brother is doing, or realize that he must be stopped.
Also if your brother is violating law by failing to use your parent's funds to adequately care for them then it may be time to get the law involved, or apply pressure to him via lawyers, to help him understand that he must change his ways.
Keep talking to your parents, make sure that they understand that you and your sister care for them deeply.
