I CRAVE boring these days. Its one of the reasons there is no pleasure in my life.
But I'm hungering pleasure now, where I hadnt much in the last 3 or 4 years.
So I've got goals now, of bringing the old me back in spades. The bike is at the top of the list, next spring I should have it. And sky-diving is up there too. But even then I have a feeling ,my private life will be broing compared to what it used to be.
I got off the rollercoaster. I dont want to find myself on one again.
boring, boring, boring
I have great relationships with my son, my exhusband, my mom and my friends. That brings me a certain level of satisfaction and comfort.
I paint, sculpt and make some extra cash as a semi-pro photographer which can on certain days dazzle myself.
But I'm not happy. I'm not in much pain except on odd days, I'm not full of rage anymore, my life is drama-free now, so thats all good.
But I'm not happy no. But I figure this is all part of a process. Maybe the in-hospital treatment centre programe I was talking about before is the missing piece of the puzzle, maybe just time, I dont know.
But I DO know an inability to tolerate the void, the emptiness, the quiet, the boredom is a sign of something not being "right". And my exS was like that. Thats why he was so exciting to be with, and such a rollercoaster ride to be with. If I dont want to be at risk of finding myself with another sociopath, then I know I cant be hungering for excitement, I need to be friends with boredom.
so here I am...BEST friends with it.
Time for the next phase.
Not being happy is OK for right now. But then, I dont think happiness should be a goal...I think that causes trouble too. I'm of the mind that its a by-product of a good life.
So?
maybe now theres a little more understanding of my "man bashing" thread from a few weeks ago?
Your experience that youre going through right now is a small snapshot of the kind of anxiety I lived for over 7 years.
You feel this bad about trusting women enough to date after 3 weeks...imagine insanity for 7 years.
If you can imagine that, you might understand why my reaction is similar, albeit more intense than yours.
Empathy Grasshopper, empathy. Imagining being in someone else's shoes for just a moment.
Its not a bad thing.
Just sayin'.
*Bangs head on desk*
Another simple meaningless thread, not sure how you come up with them!
But love your drum set, and baby pic as usual!
So tell us how you really feel!!! I wanna get to know the real Rman better!!!! I know he's funny as the get-go, but that's all I really know!!!
They then pull away and bemoan the fact that the chick was a nut job to start with and that the relationship wasn't the chipper cheerful little fairytale they decided it should be.
Of course that's my opinion only and we all know what they say about opinions~
