Every time I go through these breakups I feel even more horrible about myself than I already feel. I don't know if I'm pretty or ugly or who is the judge but I know that growing up I was always called that and rarely ever called pretty. They say that beauty is from within but how is it even possible to get to the inside if you don't go through the outside. I know that I am not pretty so why would someone want to be with me when the population of women double men and I am nothing good to look at or have. I hate the way I feel I hate what I see when I look at me although it looks okay to me it must not be because everyone has always said the same thing all my life I'm ugly I'm not pretty but I have a nice body what a slap in the face and a way to make a girl feel like trash. So now that I am alone I believe that I will stay that way what man wants a ugly girl when there are millions of pretty ones.
i've found that men trying to get to know me may call me beautiful or say i have a nice body. and men that i'm trying to distance myself from have said that i look like a freak and disgust them. people say things for so many different reasons... it really is daunting. for what it's worth, i agree with some of the other comments here. I find someone more or less attractive when i get to know them. you could look like a model and still be disgusting and creepy to me if thats how i see you as a whole person.
I had a crush on a man I met in college a few years ago. He was so smart, kind, and had depth i thought i could get lost in for hours. He was, slightly over weight, and was missing a limb from an accident. While i was all star struck i googled him, found out that he was previously a model. I ran away in fear of my own short comings, low income, and unworldliness. years later i still think about him, and he has no idea.
you never know what causes that spark. i'd rather the spark than pure lust though....
