L..I agree..I've made some amazing friendships...life long friendships that I will keep long after my DS days. One of my best friends wife was divorced and she told me early on that how some of her best friends she has to the day are friends she met while going through her divorce. I remember hearing that early on and thinking that is a postive I will be taking out of this process and I believe I have.

FD...I think it's because we all understand and have been there, feel the feelings, that nobody could understand unless you have walked the walk and talked the talk. I just hope I could meet some of you that I have known and haven't yet. Mine truly mean the world to me.

L...I agree. I look forward to meeting people on here for sure. I haven't been able to make it to some of the meetups yet for a few different reason none of which would be bc I don't want to...but when things settle down for me I definetely will.

I'm not going anywhere. I had no part in any of the drama and have never had any issues here, so I'm staying to continue getting and giving support.

I love this place. I would be nowhere without DS. I believe, for better or worse, I have an uncommon outlook on life, and I hope I could return some of the healing I've gotten here, and offer maybe a different perspective. I happily feel a certain bit of duty in that respect.

As there are other, newer outlets for me to interact with the great friends (and lover ;) I've met here, I think I'm limiting my presence to more on-topic stuff. I tried, and I think successfully, to stay out of the drama, but it's getting to much for me to see.

I am still here from time to time. I arrived here in 2008. I left for a time. I am not sure who is still here that I know. I drop in from time to time to check in. I am checking in now in need of help and support and will probably end up the same way. I do not know a lot of the people that are here now. Not sure what to do here anymore. I know that I need help and support and hope that it is here for me still.

I'm staying.
