Stbx & I were robbed at gun point one night when we were out. Cour, my mom caught 3 robbers trying to get in our house when we were younger (They were half way through the window) and she chased them through our back yard and over the fence with a croquet mallet. LMFAO! Good for you girl! :-)

I guess I'll answer this seriously now. I was molested by my step grandfather when I was a child. I hated him. The irony is my children have a step grandfather who is a wonderful man and they love him very much :)

My daughter was a victim of identity theft while she was in college. I tried to clear it up since she was in college across the country and couldn't do it.

The police were not very helpful since my daughter wasn't here. I finally was put in touch with the state's attorney and he got things moving. The person that did it had been in jail for it previously. She had so many identities it was scary.

Parents: Run your kids credit report each year.

sld, that's pretty common with college kids. My route is where students from a large university here live (off campus apartments, frat and sorority houses). These kids are constantly battling identity theft.

Have had so many horrible crimes happen to me thru out my life...never reported ...too afraid.I choose not to look at it as being a victim,rather a survivor :)

So, to get deep... We here are all victims.

There are many types of abuse that happened each way in our relationship. (silent treatments, and so on) Now that I have the luxury to look at us in hindsight, I see what wasn't so obvious.

But to get more substantial, last spring I went to give my wife a playful loving tickle one morning... Well, I may have been playful, but she wasn't. She swung her fist around to hit me. On the way, her long sharp thumb nail sliced my wrist open. (still have the scar. looks like a bad suicide attempt) She didn't believe that she had done much damage. She has never apologized (and even says it's my own fault). The slice was pretty good. And it took me quite a while to get it to stop bleeding.

Funny, at the time I actually did feel like I deserved it. And, that it was my fault. Now I realize that although it was an accident, wives should not strike husbands. And, that while I can take punches. Hitting either way is not acceptable. (I have never swung t her... or any girl... But, I guess I should tell them I don't appreciate being hit either.)

I have been a victim of physical, mental, and sexual abuse. I was also a victim of a robbery/car theft. Can you consider me a victim of infidelity too?

I was choked by stbx, while pregant and holding an infant. (We have kids born 11 months apart - also referred to as Irish twins.) To boot, my eldest son was watching the whole episode. I did not report. Partially because when I broke free and he tried to stop us all from leaving tht night, I hit him with the car door. I give as good as I get.

Ouch. Choking is not acceptable...

I am a victim of physical emotional and verbal abuse---never reported. I feel certain that he was going to kill me just weeks before he left but I suspected something. He also tried to fraudulently take out a loan with my name on it. He stole money out of my paycheck to buy flowers, wine, hotel rooms and dinners for his OW. I have been a victim of my unreported crimes all perpetrated by my stbx.

I was bit,hit with hands and a phone,pushed when I was preg and slaped holding our new born. he was a cocain addict and stayed, he got help then relapsed. Then I took our daughter and left. 13 yrs wasted because of drugs. I am successfull...he went to prison. It was very bad...to much to go on about.

i've been a "shit" magnet & "doormat" for years. my 1st X choked me & as a result i landed in the hospital w a paralyzed right arm. i came home 2 an empty apt. & bank acct. (that was just for openin the front door when he decided 2 come home & sayin hello!) i was only 19 then & found out he was only after the small sum of money left to me by my mother. finally the arm got better, but not my choice in men.

now my 2nd has left me for an ugly, older, hi-mileage whore. (guess workin myself to the bone & comin home too tired to be kinky did it! i heard something re: "golden showers" through a friend. gross! some women will do anything 2 steal a man!)

so i've thrown away the magnet & wont b puttin out the welcome mat anytime soon.
