So tonight is the night my ex is allowed to have visitors at the jail and instead of going to see my ex I want to go see a movie (weather permitting) to take my mind off things and don't know which one I should go see. Marley and Me sounds good but so does Bedtime Stories and Yes Man - they all seem like funny movies to help improve my mood so any suggestions?

Yes Man seems good. If you dont go for a comedy, I would suggest an action movie. Something with a ton of explosions. Then again, I am a guy

Marley and Me is a great great movie for us dog lovers - but it WILL make you cry. It's a good cry though, because the story is good - all about doggies and doggie love and how much a part of our hearts they become.

I haven't seen the others, so I can't comment, but Kudos to you on treating yourself to something other than visiting him in (ugh) jail.

I don't know about movies to go and see, but if you haven't seen Forgetting Sarah Marshall, you need to rent it.

It's totally helirious PLUS, you get to see his "junk". That right there is enough to make you laugh!

I agree with soon explostions are always entertaining (and I'm not a guy) . . . and yea Forgetting Sarah Marshall was a great one. I just hope the freezing rain stops so I can go.

I saw 'Bedtime Stories' w/my kids. It's great for the kiddos but not so much for the grown ups (I mean I enjoyed it but wouldn't have seen it my myself.)

I've heard nothing but how fabulous '7 Pounds' is.

whatever you do, do not see a love story or drama. comedy or action. horror makes you want to curl up next to someone in fright.

dick and fart jokes and people getting their asses shot off is the only way to go
