So tonight is the night my ex is allowed to have visitors at the jail and instead of going to see my ex I want to go see a movie (weather permitting) to take my mind off things and don't know which one I should go see. Marley and Me sounds good but so does Bedtime Stories and Yes Man - they all seem like funny movies to help improve my mood so any suggestions?

Not at all soon! Makes my blood pump fast. Its like a rush to get the hell scared out of you! I jump and then laugh at myself for being scared of a movie... it's not real!

Actually, I found Seven Pounds to be a sobering portrayal of guilt and love. Also, I now have a new method (sting by box jellyfish) if things just get too difficult to bear. Sure beats death by fire ants (my previous scheme).

Seven pounds was a good one I saw it a couple weeks ago with some friends. Somewhat depressing but still a good story. I love scary movies but usually if I'm with someone and not by myself.

Most of the movies out right now sound like they are down right depressing except for Yes Man and Bedtime Stories. 7 pounds is very depressing so if your down I do not suggest it.

Marley and Me made me want to cry because there was a time when he moved out because they were fighting...just like my ex did. Only my ex never came back.

Gawd, I love how you're such a nerd, loml. I desperately need to see The Spirit, too. It's bombing at the theaters and might not be in circulation too much longer, so I need to go see it.

Other than that, there are three other movies I really want to see right now:

- Seven Pounds

- Milk

- The Wrestler

All three of these have gotten great reviews and I'm dying for a really well-written, well-acted movie.

The Spirit has gotten terrible reviews, but I'm a comic book slut, so I'll put out for Frank Miller.
