I love to take warm baths, with a nice book. It is so peaceful and quiet and sooo relaxing.
My living room comes in at a close second
It has given me my freedom back... a freedom I lost when I married my stbx. It has nice big windows that open... a top that comes off in the summer. Big tires that keep going round and round. A nice comfy seat and a GREAT stereo system with a sub woofer and tweeters. It's a stick so I feel like I'm in control when it takes me to see the wonders that is Alberta. It takes me to see my friends and family when I want... it does what I ask of it and never talks back. Sure it costs me some money to feed but it is worth it and I would never give it up for anything in the world!!
and I have fallen in love with my kitchen again, I am cooking all the time, no frozen pizza in over a week !
Too much of his stuff is oozing out into our space, though. I am going to put all of it in his office. He's not coming back.
She made these 2 awesome blankets with such ease.
I asked my STBX to leave them when she moves out.
I really liked them.
I have one on each bed, as an extra pullover.
I like to watch people knit /crochet.
I have no idea how to do it, so it is fascinating.
Now I try to crochet the pain of my broken marriage away, sometimes falling asleep surrounded by skeins of cozy yarn. I made lots of scarves to make me feel warm and safe through my first winter alone, without my husband. I am going to crochet a blanket for my daughter the color of the ocean--she wants to be a mermaid.
I think it really helps to lose yourself in some kind of skill when going through these kinds of times.
Well, that is it for me today folks.
I am going to head home and hang in my awesome kitchen.
It's raining, which won't be as nice as a sunset, but it will be good nonetheless.
