I love my kitchen.
It is big, bright, homey, and faces south west, so from lunch till sunset, it is warm and inviting.
The windows are big, and the trees are bigger.
There are always birds, and the cat watching them.
I spend a lot of time in my kitchen.
I do a lot of non-kitchen things there, because it is my favourite room in the house.
Everyone that comes to my house loves my kitchen.
It's great.
On the counter I have a great little stereo, oak speakers that match the table and chairs.
It is great too.

There's a couple special monkeys here that have that ability.
I sometimes call my cat "Monkey" because he is always trying to climb things , like getting up on top of the cupboards in my awesome kitchen.
Who's monkey needs a spanking.... Jaken?
That IS bizarre, I call my son monkey-boy for the exact same reason! Sans the awesome kitchen, and the cupboards.
OKAY OKAY I just call him monkey-boy. ;)
Next to my big butcher block ktichen table are big patio doors leading out to a 12 by 12 patio.
I have planted dogwood trees all around it for privacy, and in May they are covered in little white flowers, like a canopy made of bridal veils.
I have a great antique metal bistro set that I painted white, and I eat breakfast there on Saturday mornings.
