Listen, you did nothing wrong. It was working so you had to leave. I know it feels like a big punch in the stomach. My ex was just propositioning me only a month ago and now he has a new girlfriend with her pictures all over his house. I didn't even know he was dating. I haven't moved on yet, because it doesn't feel right for me. You don't deserve someone like that. You deserve someone who is going to treat you wonderfully. You did this (went through the divorce) before you can do it again. You have the strength within you. It's amazing how some men (and women) can turn around and be with someone else. Check into the "common law" conditions in your state. If you can consult an attorney.... that amount of time you must be entitled to something.

My dad did something similar in the skank part of the picture and they were divorced in less than 3 years. He was remarried again less than a year later and divorced again. The grass is usually not greener from what I am gathering from his experience! This too shall pass, you deserve someone much better and soon enough he will realize, he stepped over the fence into a bunch of poop!

Unfortunately there is no common law in NJ. I am entitled to nothing.
Just when I think things are getting a little better and I take a few steps forward, I hear crap like this and fall more steps back! It hurts beyond belief and I hate it! Friends & family are shocked at what he's done and what he's doing and they believe he's not in his right mind and he's acting out of desperation because he never thought I would leave.

I would consult a lawyer if he's being shitty. Sometimes people are just users...my ex is doing the same to his OW. (Not my place to let her know though!) You WILL be better off in the long run..although I know it sucks right now. (((((Hugs))))

Our son has been very reserved during this whole ordeal. He's not one to express his feelings. He admits to me and his girlfriend that he knows what his dad did/is doing is wrong but he won't tell his dad that. He says it doesn't matter what he says to his dad because he'll do what he wants anyway which is true but in the meantime his dad thinks our son is okay with everything because he hasn't said anything otherwise. Our son is hardly ever home anymore cause he stays at his girlfriends house all the time. All his stuff is there except for his furniture. She's trying to talk him into just permanently moving in but for some reason he says he can't leave his "home" yet even though he's hardly there. I think he's having a problem dealing with the reality of it all and I'm really concerned about him. I also think he's very disappointed in his dad and even lost some respect for him. He does admit that his dad is very selfish and seems to care about himself only. I just wish he would tell him how he truly feels.

Well now it turns out that the skank has a skanklet there at the house too - her daughter! This just keeps getting better! My son doesn't even want to go home anymore. I am so pissed that I can't even think straight!
