I think it is just some opinion you form in your head about someone. An opinion that overrides all common sense and good judgement. An opinion you ride all your hopes on that he/she will love you back. It has nothing to do with the other person, it is all YOU and how YOU feel about this person.

what is love...(my opinion).....
it is a very real feeling of deep care and concern for another person. It transcends how they look, if they embarrass you, how much money they make, and looks past the person at their worst moment... it makes me want to do things for that person. It is selfless. It anticipates the needs of someone else and takes pleasure in meeting them. It does not play games or try to get the upperhand. It should be two-sided and easy. Affection should be a sign of it, but it isn't the love itself. It is looking out for someone as you would want someone to look out for you. It creates a place of security and belonging. Love always goes alongside trust. without trust, love is not possible.

Thanks for sharing that...it brought tears to my eyes because that is truly what I believe it should be and it would be wonderful to have that with someone who could return it.
