I try to keep busy and remind myself that I'm fortunate to have a great job, family and friends, but it sometimes feel like busywork to get through the day. I miss the one person I can always count on to watch movies with, eat with, share my dreams/disappointments with.
Sometimes, in the middle of the night, and amidst all that quiet and space, I miss having that companion.

I thought about it some more. I don't really miss having a companion. I miss the familiarity.

I miss my kids. They used to be with me every day. Now they're with him every other week. I don't miss him at all. Don't miss anything about him.

I *really* miss physical intimacy.

From snuggling on the couch to the raunchiest sex, and everything in between.

I miss having a whole family and doing things together as a family.

There's a restaurant down south called " Sonny's Bar B Que "

I used to work at Sonny's Bbq when I lived in Tampa.

But let's just say that I have found it to be true what they say about women in their forties....

well somebody has to be in there making up for my "lack" of statistical data ! way to represent the team WMH!!!

Here's a toast to women in their forties. :) For those who fully blossom, they are truly a sight to behold. (sigh)

omg, faithful, I am so "blossomed" you have no idea. Inside and out.

Frustrating as hell.

Actually, I just spent a weekend in the city where I used to live, visiting old friends. One of them, who would LOVE to harvest the blossom or whatever you want to call it -- I couldn't let myself go for, tempting as it was (because I know WAY too much about his -- truly impressive -- sexual exploits, and quite simply, the thought of catching herpes or some other STD kept me in check.

Ugh.

I miss the man I married. The home we made together. And our life together, Before:
he started being a liar and a cheat and a sneak and a snake and I could go on forever.

This is a hard one for me to answer, after all the things she did to me but, I guess if I miss anything, it is the sense of the youthful plans we had, the innocence I felt in being a 19 year old kid who loved so much, he was blinded by the circumstances, yet he loved her.
