I agree with gdowns. I enjoyed beeing married. I was in my SIL's (his sister's) wedding 1 month after we separated. I was very happy for her.

Word of advice....don't go to a wedding while going through a divorce....so glad she had an open bar!

I'm happy for those who want to give it a go, but for me, I doubt I will ever do it again.

It would take an exceptional man to get me to walk down the aisle again.

I am not sure about marriage, however, I do love being in a relationship!

I go totally the other way, Heave.

I look at people willing to give it a shot in the face of the statistics and think, good for them!

I don't know if I will ever get married again, but when I go to a wedding, I still get all teary-eyed with the hope and promise of it.

And I not only had to attend my dear niece's wedding, I had to give the toast at the reception!

I guess I'm the only person who saw the irony in that! Sure, pick the only relative you have on your dad's side who is not just divorced but in the process of divorcing to give the toast at your wedding!

Even with all that, I was happy to do it. Not her fault I'm getting a divorce in the middle of her marriage!

Everytime I hear of an engagement, I have to tell the person.."Don't do it". It's a habit now.

I won't put myself through it again. Never!

I love going to weddings.

Like mel I see the promise of it, and hope for a long and happy marriage for them.

I've been to a couple since my separation and still feel the same way. I'm a sap when it come to weddings.

I don't know if I'll ever get married again, but I'm definitely not against it. For me it's a deeper level of commitment than just being in a relationship.

I will marry again. But this time around, I will be more careful.

I will take more time and make sure that other people in my life know him and know us as a couple.

I will ask the tough questions and know the true answers. Like...are you in debt? What is your life plan and how do you plan to get there..

When I hear that people are getting married now, I want to tell them to be so careful! And to document everything financial...

Hey I lived with my partner for 20 years before we got married - I just got my divorce through today - my marriage lasted exactly 11 months.

I knew after 20 years it was too soon to tie the knot - I should never have rushed into marriage....lol :)

I am in a very new and happy relationship now but at the back of mind I keep thinking " would I ever get married again"

I would like to do it again, with one I have in mind, maybe in 2011, won't be ready before that. otherwise I could see never going that route again. would be nice to get it right though. if I do I DO again, I want it to be longer than last time, then we'll be too old to care
