Me and my ex broke up before I left to work on cruise ship and since returnint iv been raped while I was away and were casually dating which is fine iv tried to forget abt the rape bt now its all I can think abt and iv told him how I feel I dont think I can put him through this agen after the last time I was also raped 2 years ago :( what do you think shall I stick with him and have his help or walk away now I leave for ship in 4 weeks so ?? Help

Hes always been there for me through everything I trust him 100% bt now I dont know If I can put him throuth this agen I did have councellong nt stopped in dec as I was raped 2 years ago as well and thats when we first got together just after that happened and now its happened agen I dont know if I can take it anymore I have a crisis appt with my rape councellor next week and I love being on the ship u wake up somewhere new everyday its fab

He is willing to help me bt I dont know if I can let him go through this agen he is a big boy ofc he has a 7 year old daughter NOT mine btw so yea bt I dunno

I think the rape counseling is the most important thing. You don't want to have to rely on another person to support your emotions. That's the wrong reason to be in a relationship if that's your primary reason for seeing him.

No we have been together on n off for abt 2 years hes always there for me as I am him bt in this case I dont feel right confiding in him for some reason altho he knows everything that happened

LOL. You aren't "letting him" go through this again, he's choosing it.

As far as the rape(s) are concerned, I would take measures to find some sort of counseling, while ashore, and at sea. Although I don't think the cruise ships carry mental health professionals.

Let him make that choice whether he wants to go through this with you or not. It should be his decision, unless of course you don't want him to be there for you.

I want him to more than anything we just tried to havr sex bt whilr kissing I completely froze and blanked he said it was scary has that happene before and im not sure the ship will have any I can contact the care team who r supporting me during this hmm bt I want him to be there more than anything else bt iv dont wan make him go thro this like just nw its not fub for him if I freeze
