I think that I should come with this warning label on me now that I am in the dating world:
Ladies, don't think that you are going to change me. I am who I am, like it, love it, or hate it. Don't date me because you have plans for me or have an idea on who I could be. If you date me you must accept me as a sailing bum who plans to sail off to distant places when I retire. If you want to join me then you can date me. If you want to keep me from doing this, don't date me. I am me and that is all that I will ever be. If you have questions...ask and I will tell. Don't complain about me or the way that I am because I am being upfront about telling you who I am.

Good luck to you but I'm looking at it from the POV from a woman who is also living the single life and attempting to move on.
I guess that I came off a little unrealistic by saying I won't be changed. Anyway, the main point was missed in saying that I am not settling for less and I will will be choosey when it comes to settling down with the right person. If they don't fit then they don't fit but at least I am up front with people and I am very open about who I am and what I want to do.
