Valentines Day is hereby cancelled

Due to the poor economy, lack of concern by the public, and idiots referred to as Soon To Be Exes Valentines Day is hereby cancelled. The flowers at the florist can wither and die, we don't give a damn and the chocolates can melt because there isn't any sweet in heart. All cute Teddy Bears are hereby beheaded and impaled and all balloons are deflated.

Yes, that is right folks, we are canceling Valentines Day this year. Oh, and that son of a bitch named Cupid is wanted, dead or alive (preferred dead).

In Scotland, its really only school kids who celebrate Valentines day (with a few exceptions, of course) and parents sending cards to their kids... However, I have went all out in my effort for my Secret Cupid this year, so I think we should just be finnish for the day. And Z, stop pimping my wife out to people! She mine's I tell you, ALL MINES!

I've always thought it was a pretty 'madeup' holiday so the card companies could sell cards. I do like getting flowers from my kids though.

I think that Valentines Day is a big ploy by the card companies and the florists to drum up business for a day. Think about it, what is really special about that date...absolutely freaking nothing.

In the mean time the selfish bastards at the Florist and Card companies have created a holiday that makes a large percentage of us feel left out. That is right, there is a descent percentage of us who don't get ANYTHING for Valentines Day. This is rough on our self esteem. Damn you Halmark! Damn you FTD. Damn you straight to hell!
