just try to hold your head up high and take the high road. it will all come out in the end...
your karma will be positive. your girls will have a man they respect, and you can face yourself in the mirror knowing you did the best you could at this point in time.

Sounds like one of those games of "who ever dies with the most toys wins" in this case who ever has the most people on their side must be the good person the one who is right etc.

Why do you assume that if they hate you that it's because of something your ex did or said? They probably see her in pain and it's a parent's instinct to want to protect their child and take their side of things. I assume my STBX's family is on his side and agree with him, even if they've been supportive. My parents are pretty angry at him, but they've had me over there weeping all over them and needing support, I think he's been more reserved with his family.

Either way, does it matter? You're not together anymore and they're not your family anymore. It's one of those things you just have to try not to let it bother you if you can, since there's nothing you can do about it.

Plus that intervention they had with you, I don't know what stipulations, or lines in the sand they drew, but as interventions go, if the marriage is over now, I'm assuming, at least emotionally, they are starting to implement those lines.

You are a good guy, Rman. I should have my people talk to her people to straighten them out! Seriously, though, with all the time you spent with them, your demeanor with your kids, they should be adults and see that you aren't the one who is destructive. She just wants someone on her side so that she can whine instead of being responsible for her choices. She plain selfish and self centered. They don't have to choose sides, and it isn't good for the children. Hopefully, they will figure it out if they don't know already. You are at that stage where you feel the need to distinguish who is to blame because you were attacked and it's natural to react. Don't react to her negativity. When the dust settles, when a few years go by, you will most likely come to a deeper understanding of the whole picture. Sorry you are going through this now. Hugs.
