Oh...here is another hint about juvenile drivers that is at least true in Virginia...Myth busted:
Cops HATE pulling over juveniles and giving them tickets. The reason is that means that they HAVE to go to a different court on a different date and deal with the juvenile court system that does nothing to juveniles but the bare minimum. I RARELY write tickets to juveniles because the system is so messed up and the extra court date is a pain in the butt.
It really very simple BeyBey..don't break the law and the police wont pull you over, arrest you, shoot you or question you. What would you call that? The breaking the law while Black and expecting to get away with it thing?
And I hear what you are saying about the profanity in music today. But truly the old folks thought kids were going to hell in a handbasket back then. They found it tremendously offensive, for the times.
It doesn't bother me if I pull up to a car and their music is thumping. Sometimes to embarrass my daughter I start carseat dancing. Nothing worse than a middle-aged woman dancing in her car to your teenage music!
It's hysterical fun! (*yes, my life is JUST that pathetic*)
sorry...had to put this up here...way to funny!

Cops ask a lot of questions when they stop you. Especially if you are behaving furtively when they stop you. If you are respectful and courteous you will get through the stop without any problems. If you give them problems they will always try to one-up you because all of them are taught to be in control of a situation.
I really believe in treating people the way I would want to be treated and to treat them as well as they are treating me. I always start off by saying yes mam's and yes sirs' to people and they determine how it goes from there. I usually try to maintain a calm demeanor when someone is being a jerk because it helps moderate the situation.
BeyBey, I am not sure where you live or what your experiences with Police Officers are, but it is a different world out there and the things that you are talking about are rare. This is a very professional career and most police officers take their jobs way too seriously (most of them are work-a-holics).
I have already made the point...Ride along with a cop one night that is working radar. You tell me what the race is of the person that drives by at 70 mph in a 55mph zone at night on a dark highway as you are driving 55mph in the other direction. You can't tell. How is that cop racist for pulling that person over then?
