LOL....Okay...As long as you don't have something under there like a woman did that a friend of mine stopped on Route 29. It was odd that she was speeding because of what she was really doing but I won't go there to much further other than saying hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.

Now that I am in Town I don't get to play on Route 29 anymore :( I miss that road because the coolest things happen there. It is also a good place to get up some speed. I had a really hot call one time and I was in a car that was fast....Got it up to 150 on the straight stretches....that was so much fun.

29 is so hilly, I usually keep it under control. Down near Danville, now that's where you can open it up! As a civilian, anyways.

Wow! I have the drivng while black thing going on. So I keep my music down. I don't need another racist cop pulling me over for another stupid reason.

Heave, I'm totally behind you on THIS! It's not really YOUR choice what laws to enforce, YOU don't MAKE the laws. You even said if there was a more serious crime happening, that you would pursue THAT individual! Personally, when I had younger children, I was offended numerous times by the extremely foul language in some of the music I was forced to let my children hear! If I wanted my kids to hear "George Carlin" put to music, then I would play it FOR them! It is extremely rude to others, to "force" them to listen to whatever YOU want to listen to! What a violation of THEIR rights! WHAT?! Should others have to wear ear-plugs, everywhere they go, to ensure they aren't subjected to someone else's choice of music? The saddest part, is that most of them even have their windows down! If they wanted to listen to it THAT loud, the LEAST they should do is close their damn windows! Heck, if my kids wanted to listen to music that loud at home, I'd make them put their dang headphones on!
Yep, I - like many others, did this when I was a kid, but if I had ever gotten a ticket, I guarantee that I would have stopped, shrug. ;)

Maybe it just goes along with the old saying "if it's TOO loud - you're TOO old" ... lol

I like loud music, but I do have the respect when I a sitting at a light that I turn my music down.. NOT EVERYONE is going to want to hear the same crap your listening to. I mean really respect is all that people need and then everything will be fine!

When my kids were little, I just told them not to listen. Or that the people playing their music that loud were rude. You can't control what other people do or how they behave. You can only control your reaction. So I hope I taught my kids better manners than what they may have seen on occasion while they were growing up.

Whoa there BeyBey...That whole driving while black thing is a farse.....Racist cop thing is very offensive to me. I don't judge people and pull people based on who they are but what they are doing. My Radar doesn't see color, only a speed. It is really hard to look into a car that speeds past you and determine who is driving the car by that half a second glimspe.

Yeah...there are racist cops out there and I would be lying if I said that there weren't. They are, however, a huge minority in law enforcement and most of us stive to do our jobs in a professional manor these days. I work for a nationally accredited department and I can say without a doubt that none of the guys that I work with pull cars over based on race.

We use to be this way in high school (It was the 90 aaaaight!).....Yeah, irritating as an "old fogy" NOW...not so much back then whe we didn't think about it! (A VW bus full of kids!)

Njmel7, This is a free country until you step on the rights of another person. Other people are entitled to keep their kids from hearing vulgar music so if someone is playing that kind of music loudly then they are trampling on your rights. It is then the Government's job to step in and make sure that your rights are protected. If the person with the loud music wants to by 1000 acres and blare their music until they can't hear then more power to them, rock on.

I know my daughter plays her music too loud, and I have cautioned her a number of times that the cops are looking out for young kids driving in loud cars.

And if she gets pulled over, she will deserve a ticket for it. I think it does have to do with youth, etc. The music now, while offensive to some of us with the bad language, is no more offensive than rock music was to the older generation. They were appalled by Elvis, the Beatles, the Rolling Stones, etc.
