you will get better the pain in my chest has gone away took like a month be strong dont let anther person define who you are. I am going through the same thing and my wife told me its over but you know what I will be happy with no stress so will you.

I hate that feeling. I've had it for a week and it's only getting worse.

rman - I'm right there with you right now. The feelings of nausea are making it hard for me to function.
The rollercoaster doesn't seem to end. Even when I feel okay about the divorce (which honestly is 99% of the time now), the issues of mistrust that came from that relationship permeate my life now. I'd rather hide than deal with the pain involved in relationships.

I know that feeling well. But you know that it's the rollercoaster ride that everyone talks about. Hopefully you'll be better by Halloween. You wouldn't want to miss out on all of that candy.

I remember that feeling.... lost about 30lbs with it... then later I lost 120lbs of her bitter ass.... best thing I did was move out, it was tough at first, but things worked out.... they will for you too, stay tough, do what is best for you and the other will fall in place.

usually don't share my personal problems, because honestly I am afraid it makes me look weak...but I too have been having this chest and stomach issues related to my rocky marriage...which is going to end in divorce. My problem is that I have two wonderful kids and I feel like I have failed them. In addition to the fact that I am not a quitter, I feel inclined to "stick it out" but also know that the way I am handling it is really causing me some physical problems. I guess I have just been a poor judge at picking the right person for a relationship.

Rman I lost about 30 lbs in one month....kept it off...now lost it again, my stomach is in constant turmoil, I have chest pains off and on, and it's all how we process it, I guess. I am a worrier by nature which doesn't help any of this but I think most of us have gone thru similar situations whether it's anxiety about divorce or general life.

oh man, i can relate. i'm about to break my girlfriend's heart and i'm getting sick to my stomach. i didn't think it would be so hard to end something that is not actually failing. i'm just not in love with her. why not give her the freedom to choose someone that will? this is now making my intestines feel like they are going to explode. i'm new and i asked for advice and now, i found this forum.

Yes, I couldn't eat for three weeks. Survived on 7up only, Then I forced myself to eat half of a frozen dinner just to make sure I was eating something. I lost a lot of weight.

The lack of wanting to eat sucked. I've lost like 15 lbs and really didn't have much to loose already.

Agreed with reply #2....I'm back in the marital home because she moved out. I can't afford the mortgage....I can't refinance....one would think I'd be a stress ball...but in reality I'm pretty at ease. I thought being at home would be hard, but I've been totally just relaxed...no stress because of the stbx. So happy and no stress for sure once you get past things and realize how unhappy you really were.

Dammit! I've gained 20 pounds through this whole thing. I seriously checked the wrong box on the application.

Damn it! I lost no weight.... won't have a do-over for the world, though....

I wake up with an upset stomach every morning. It happens on it's own, even when I'm not thinking about my problems. I hate it. I don't understand why my body does this to me. I am never hungry either.

Even though those sick feelings subside for days on end, they can come back by simple reminders of my past or current struggles.
