I woke up pretty angry this morning after getting about 2 hrs of sleep. Which I prefer to how I feel now. Ive had something on my mind all day thats been bugging me, so I texted her to confront her about it. When I got the answer that I knew i would get to the question I shouldnt have asked. I was incredibly hurt. I immediatly started throwing barbs at her trying to hurt her the way I was hurting. That was not the best way to handle it. I then realized that I had stooped to a level I normaly dont when she stopped arguing and said I was "being a jerk". When it gets to the point where she calls me a jerk that usually means she is in tears. I recieved no satisfaction from hurting her. The fullfilment I hoped to gain from a small measure of payback is nowhere to be found. Now I just feel guilty for doing such a thing. I have since apologized and she accepted and thanked me for the apology. Now Im laying here feeling like an angry jerk with a broken heart who's world is being torn apart by the woman who used to be his best friend and now will barely even speak to him. What a day.
