I haven't written in my diary on my computer since May because I thought that my computer was dying. I got away from writing but my computer is hanging in there. I think that I will start writing in it again. It's so therapeutic.

Years ago, I won a mirrored armoire from my job. It's in my bedroom but I rarely stand in front of it. Yesterday, I had to have a dexascan done so I had to change into a gown. There was a full length mirror in the changing room. I'm aware that I gained 5 to 7 pounds over the last year from cheating on Keto but I didn't know what it looked like. It was a reality check.
Listening to others is therapeutic to me and makes me feel not alone in these struggles.
The crap some people put up with and stay together is something else.
People are often placed in a disposition of discomfort, someone may say or do something offensive, repulsive, or disrespectful.
But eventually we still keep life civil (peaceful) so as long as it’s up to us.
Others I can't remember but it's like no way
I listened to an episode where the guy was engaged to his lady. Both Christians his father a minister and had all set up to wait until marriage to consummate their union but the girlfriend became wishy washy and he gave into temptation. Basically he was destroyed internally and felt like such a failure to himself and all those supporting their covenants.
Eventually, the host being honestly truthful let him know she was no good for him and to turn the chapter. It’s those testimonies of honest truth and intentions that offers hope to the next generation of discipleship to become triumphant.
And there was another episode where the wife calls because she felt like a single mother raising her young children on her own because her spouse is a surgeon and is hardly ever home with her to help out with the raising of the children.
So there was pros and cons about his successful profession that was hard for him to shift from surgeon to general family practitioner. Loans and finances being another stressor to their marriage.
Those are the ones I’m willing to listen to learn and grow from and to pray for, I believe we all benefit from prayer.
Listening to these stories makes me wonder
Society is so terrible
We may live in the world, and interact with the world, but we are not of this world.
One is to live accordingly to one’s amount of faith, as the salt and light of this world.
We give life, in the world, its meaning and purpose; not the other way around.
Stay lit Life!
Maybe that’s their point to be apart of the problem vs problem solving by addressing the problem and blessing instead? I think not!
And how does one bless another very simple by speaking truth, educating, that’s light and by bringing life with the word into existence instead.
My take is, let’s get the mind out of the gutter. Better to say life is getting better by the hour each and every day instead of “it’ll get worse before it gets better,” just saying.
I’m a firm believer that we all hold the power to bless another.
