I stopped a car last night and the driver had a visit from the dope ferry.
The dope ferry is a mythical creature that secretly sticks dope in people's pockets when they aren't paying attention. The dope ferry loves to mess with people in this way and she spends a lot of time cultivating her fields of narcotics so that she can plant lots of stuff on people. LOL
Last night I followed a car out of a drug area in Town. I stopped the car for having a tag light out. When I approached the car I noticed some plastic cigar cases in the front passenger side floor board (bingo...got a pot head). While I wrote out a warning ticket for the equipment violation I had a narcotics K-9 run the vehicle. Surprise, Surprise, the dog alerted on the car. We found marijuana in the car and some on the driver (only one person in the car).
I asked the driver what was in her pocket. She said it was Marijuana but she didn't know how this got into her pocket. I then asked the question...."So you had a visit from the dope ferry?" Puzzled, the driver looked at me and asked what I was talking about. I said "Do you expect me to believe that someone slipped dope into your car and your pants without you knowing it?"
The driver finally admitted that it was marijuana in her pocket and a friend had asked her to hold onto it for him. Whatever she wants to say, I had her dead to rights anyway but it was nice for to admit that it was marijuana and she knew that it was there!
Another officer made up the character of the Dope Ferry. We use it to show people how stupid their stories are.

My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus). I read this as one of the signs of an allergy. BUT I did just buy a different brand diaper yesterday (which they have used randomly before w/no issues). Do you think its the cereal or the diaper? I can believe it's a she cuz my sister & her wife have her come by quite often.
Oh, and BTW, she don't just deliver pot, she delivers meth & pills, too...
