If you're married, all of a sudden that evil, ugly, disgusting and horrible thing becomes wonderful and beautiful.
It works on kids who don't know any better and who are still susceptible to being intimidated by fear from their parents and who still believe in the tooth fairy and the Easter bunny. But trying to make people conform to something out of fear seems...so immature.

It may be helpful if you take it as an attempt for him not to to preach to people who do not share his religious convictions as much as trying to be helpful to those who do. Sex (much like divorce itself) creates a whole slew of questions and conflicts for certain types of believers. This was meant for a specific audience.
As Boyd suggested, he could create his own group for these kinds of posts. Maybe now that he has generated some interest that may be an idea. However, sometimes you just don't know who shares the common thread of belief. Geo's group was created after he'd been here awhile and actually started as a discussion thread. The same with Kimmeee's storytelling group. Those two particular groups were given a chance to generate interest to see who might want to partake in them.
Have a little patience, people. Everytime someone talks about their beliefs or brings God into the mix is not a reason to get freaked out and kill the messenger. Not every shared belief is an attempt to judge someone else. In my opinion, this man was merely trying to be helpful to the few who might be looking for this type of solution.
