Funny thing is I did block him, and his entire family. I had no idea what was going on with him. I imagined him pining away for me and what we had. Living at home at his parent's on the couch, etc. Then my daughter told me she had seen on Facebook that he was living with a new woman. I researched her. She is a drunk from Fl, DUI's, Mugshots on the web, the whole deal. They traveled off to Key West just before our court date. I needed that information for the judge to prove that he had a disposable income and was refusing to pay the money he owed me. I did not refriend him on FB. Months later my daughter went on vacation and she took one of my Kindles. She was on her FB account on my Kindle. He remains her friend, and I'm sure just for the reason you have suggested - to do things that she will tell me. Anyway, when she returned my Kindle to me it had her account loaded on it. Voila - I can not go on his page, and consequently hers, every day and they don't know it's me. I am dying to catch him in something with her, and then I am going to post it on his page! Enough of him sliming through life while I look the fool because he took a shit on me and left like I was some dirty thing. Grrrr. he is disgusting.

I understand your desire for revenge, cause thats what it is. But you are so much better than that. Dont let him bring you down to his level. Karma will handle that someday. I wish your daughter could get rid of him on her page. Its not doing you any good to be able to see or hear what is going on. If anything, he needs to see that YOU are doing so much better without HIM!!! Pigs are pigs even if they are wearing lipstick! Dont let him bring you down and into the muck he is in. the "fun" only lasts a while when the relationship (that he is in) is a lie. Then they are left with NOTHING. Im sure things are happy and positive on your page- which is great...BUT...do you want the truth? Im sure he really doesnt check your page out like you hope that he does. Sorry to be a beotch about it but from past experience, they really dont give a crap after they have "moved on". I deactivated my account so i dont have to concern myself with what he is doing with the ex and they dont have to see if im "slamming" them in my statuses (which i wouldnt do. It would be her checking more than him anyway) THEY DONT CARE! If he cared, wouldnt he still be there? Wouldnt he have treated you better? Listen hun, im telling myself this as i type it to you. I feel betrayed right now but im pissed about it. I hate to see you go thru this. Its not fair. We both have to learn that the things that we did for the other person are done. If we buy clothes, we cant wonder if they would like it or not (i say this after buying camo lingerie for him 2 days before shit hit the fan). If we go do something, we cant wonder if they would be jealous that we are out having fun or checking in on us. Do things for YOU sweetie! Its hard to hear and a lil cliche but the more you put them in the past, the less "control" they will have over you. He is still controlling your thoughts and actions even if he isnt there. I know he is in your brain and your heart and it will take time. But I know you can do this!! Heck, do it for me and show me how to deal with my situation!! :)

While you are obsessing over what he's doing, he has moved on and in with someone else. You are the one being held back in your recovery by your own hand. Stop doing this to yourself. The only one being hurt by your looking is you. You are hurting yourself. Please be completely honest with your therapist so he can help you to see a better way to live going forward. Do it for yourself and your child. We are here for you.

Sandy I know this hurts. Many of us including me have been on the receiving end of this. Mine described what it was like to sleep with the other woman and there were many. I know that shut down feeling, the anger when I couldn't take it anymore. The put downs and more. I wouldn't say I'm completely beyond what happened but I'm so much better. I do not maintain any contact with the ex. Getting away from him was very difficult but that was the start of my healing.

Sandysan i'm about 2 months ahead of you, i don't knwo exactly how you feel but i've been where you are.
sounds silly but you are not alone, maybe very alone in your location but strangers care about you becuase
1) you are a creation of nature or God
2) you matter - - - You matter to your daughter
3) we've been lucky, strangers reached out to us
4) so we reach out to you
5) you matter to your daughter and you will make it
6) so you can reach out to your daughter as she grows
you take care

A brief report. I met with a therapist today. He validated my anger following the dissolution of the two long relationships. He told me I chose two very flawed men which is especially difficult for someone with very strong moral principles such as myself. He also validated the sadness I feel at being alone at my age. He asked why I continually check his and her FB pages. I told him the truth. It is because I hate him so much that I want him to slip up in some manner, allowing me to expose the true Kevin to his new "love" which would then cause her to kick him out leaving him homeless, alone, and financially ruined. I want him to suffer. I want him to go to jail for stealing from me and my father. I want him to go to jail for not paying taxes like the rest of us do. I want him to face the fact that he has a kid that he owes over $20,000 in child support for. Why does he get to slime through life with no responsibility, living off others? I am outraged at that fact. I have reported him to the IRS. I have taken him to small claims and won, and yet nothing changes. He does what he likes and pays no penalty.

The doctor wants me to start on meds. I have had two mini strokes, been diagnosed with a blood clot, have a genetic blood clotting disorder and to round it all off a newly discovered hole in my heart. Needless to say he is concerned about another larger stroke due to stress and anger.
