We have had our cat for 9 years. For the past 2, he has been spraying on the carpet. She just told me that she is taking him to the SPCA tomorrow. I feel really bad about this decision, but have no other choice. Just another casualty.

Sorry Rman. Being a cat lady myself. I know it\'s hard to give them up. Have you had it checked out by a vet. My fixed male started spraying in the house and come to find out he had a urinary infection. Put him on antibiotics and he was fine after about a week. 9 years is a long time to just abandon him. Sad, very sad

Ours did the same a few years back. He ended up have a UTI and meds broke down the crystals. I feed him Purina One for Urinary Tract Health and he is fine, since.

Aww Rman I\'m so sorry. I know how horrible you must feel. I left 3 kitties and a dog and I miss them terribly. I wish they all would start pissing all over the house! He deserves it!

Ok I have 2 cats myself....and this breaks my heart.

My previous cat before she died, had an infection too, ended up getting diabetes. She ended up getting very ill and is no longer with me....but she sprayed once I got her on some meds and better food she didn\'t do that.

I\'m sorry, I know how much our pets mean to us. :(

I feel your pain in this...I went to pic up the boys today from my STBX and he gave away one of our dogs to someone he works with. More importantly...IT WAS MY DOG. I didn\'t even get to say goodbye:*(

I went thru a year of one of mine spraying and throwing up all over, sick kitty...but the vet said he wasn\'t in any pain, so I just dealt with the messes and let him die at home recently.

I\'m sorry she\'s taking the cat away...mine really helped me thru this 1st few months of rough nights.

I Love my kitties & would never drop them off because i couldn\'t handle them...

Hell, the older one that i have was left on a vets door step in a carrier...

My sisters ex had a dog & his mom put it down with out telling him...

I hate stupid Biotches that can\'t take care of poor animals.
