We have had our cat for 9 years. For the past 2, he has been spraying on the carpet. She just told me that she is taking him to the SPCA tomorrow. I feel really bad about this decision, but have no other choice. Just another casualty.
Poor cat! If he is spraying the carpet he must be upset about something. It\'s not his fault. You can\'t abandon your pets, that\'s awful! Now I REALLY hate her.
My ex did the same thing to me with both my cats... the only thing is he didn\'t tell me about it. He just turned them in and I got a call! Their tattoos gave my phone number so I got the call.

I rescued them and found them a nice home on a ranch in the country. I didn\'t have room for them in my little apartment.

Nobody wants adult cats... everyone wants baby kitties.
the euthanize rate at the SPCA is almost 100% of adult cats. Mine weren\'t even that old (3 years and 2 years old) and they were scheduled to be euthanized less than a month that my ex turned them in.
that is terrible that she isn\'t even giving that cat a chance... or at least taking him to a vet. People that give up like that are just sad!!
