So I got a lot of judgement when I originally posted about MY decision to leave my husband (22 yrs) . Apparently, betraying me financially, lying to me repeatedly, and jeopardizing our family's security was not enough justification. But now, 5 years from the first betrayal, many betrayals and lies have followed but worse to follow was his complete apathy. We tried counselors. They fired us because of his inaction. We had pastors (he chose) give us to do lists: he did nothing. My whole point is that sometimes the handwriting is on the wall. People can judge you, compare their situation (maybe it was infidelity, so much worse? ) but at the end of the day you MUST do you. You sacrifice what you are willing to sacrifice, you give what you are willing to give. I came to post on here because I gave it my best, I've sacrificed 5 years of MY life that I'll never get back, and I choose not to regret it BUT I am moving on. Judge me as you like. I've been my judge and jury and my sentence is up. Bottom line, every journey is different because the people are different. I would love to have my old stable life back but I didn't lie or betray or harm my family. I don't hate him but I don't hate myself either. Good luck to us all on this difficult journey. Love well, love well.

I was just telling my brother that I have had my car since March 2, 2026 and have only spent $75 on an oil change. Now this! I called another insurance company and their quote was over $4,000. I guess I have to pay...

We all have 24 hours in a day. How we spend these hours is important. Watching a little bit of a video about how sitting affects us made me aware of how much sitting and laying down I do. Gonna have to work on that.Your turn. Tell me another truth.
