I'm having a hard time with self-esteem these days. I was in a relationship for just under 4.5 years and during that time I was very happy and my needs were being met... until they weren't. I understand it's not good for us to be together. I am working on accepting this. While I work through my heartbreak, I am struggling with anxiety and really low self-esteem. This was my first real legit relationship and I'm struggling with feelings of anxiety and doubt about my future. I feel like I am going to be alone forever and no man will find me attractive and I lost my only true chance at love. I am overweight and have been my entire life. I am working on it, having dropped 60 lbs in the last year, but I still feel terrible about myself. I still have a long way to go. I will never look the way I want to look and I just can't seem to accept this about myself. I've never had good self-esteem but ending this relationship has caused these feelings to intensify and bubble to the surface. It's creating a bad anxiety mix and really negative feelings and self-loathing. Guess I'm not looking for advice, just need to write it out. I HATE feeling this way. :(

I was making so many strides and changes during therapy, my therapist would acknowledge all of my progress and accomplishments, and I miss that reassurance. Today I thought about it, and I made those changes! She would always tell me that I chose to...
Hope writing ^it^ out helped, TM. Writing ^it^ out doesn't always help me feel better, but it helps with the sorting. Sort freely. Sort often.
