Breakups & Divorce Support Group
Just broke up with someone or in the midst of a difficult divorce? Breaking up is difficult no matter what the circumstances are. They say that time heals all wounds, but sometimes a listening ear or a hug can work wonders for the heart. Whether you need a place to vent, someone to hold you to No Contact, or need advice about what to do, we're here to help.
Also, I think if you were to post all these things on face book, you probably should think about joining her on the "BLOCK".
Please take the higher ground and let go of your anger.
Hugs and best of luck.
I would totally take the higher ground. But it does appear you are not over this or have completely come to terms. Your hurt is right there on the surface still. Not sure how long it's been ... years, months, a decade ago?
Anyway, take comfort in the fact these two shmucks didn't make it. It's a small comfort, but just think of the regret your ex has right now.
I truly believe that anything you can do at this point is only a reflection on YOU and not on your ex or this woman. Stay at your level and actually rise... rise above this.
Just my two cents. Since you're asking, I say STAY AWAY!!! Let their own drama unfold and unravel, you can sit back and watch from the sidelines to their destruction..... they are going to destruct on their own, a helping hand from you isn't necessary and will only bring bad karma into your world.
Peace.
If you truly think I belong on the "BLOCK", you are sadly mistaken. I have more respect for myself than that.
I feel it is my civic duty to warn the other women in my area to be aware of this woman and warn them that she will soon be unleashed, available and on the prowl ready to pounce on another unsuspecting marriage.
I am wrong for wanting to warn my fellow neighbors??? Really???
Along with dump3d and lostsoul72, take the higher ground and KNOW that you are better than this woman and you will find a man eventually who is good enough for you and will treat you well!
Just hang in there, the pain and anger may be intense now but take this time for YOU! Pamper yourself and take care of yourself. Light some candles and take a nice long bath, go to the store and get some ingredients for a fantastic dinner and invite the girls over! Call a friend, watch funny youtube videos, but take this time for YOU!
Second, you so carefully listed out all the good things you want in your life! A soulmate, to travel, to go up in a hot air balloon ride.... etc. These are wonderful things and I say, focus on that 100%.
Meaning, if you do this you are pulling NEGATIVE karma into your life. If you continue to have bad feelings towards them and can't forgive, then you will always attract negativity.
Just think.... you only have so much of your brain space and energy to dedicate to yourself and the things you want in your life. Why would you or anyone outwardly CHOOSE to put time, effort, attention and focus on destructive and negative things? Not judging your idea here, but just think about it... put all that attention on yourself and watch them distruct from the sidelines.... rise above.
We all come here to vent and seek advice. So this is and was my first step of taking that high road. I know that my friends here will keep me grounded and on the right track from making a stupid mistake.
Thanks.
I can totally empathize and the idea of outing this chick is very yummy! However, you said it.... you are 46, you are above this.... way above this!
I'm not agreeing with the civic duty so much, seems it's very much about your hurt and pain and not what could happen to your neighbors. If there's a man out there that is going to cheat with this skank, then it's going to happen! There's nothing you can say or do that will stop that... warning people from what? That's she easy.... there's probably a lot more of that around then any of of realize... so anything you do or say is only a reflection on you... unfortunately.
Unless she's a known child molestor, rapist, burglar, etc... then civic duty isn't really the best argument.
You are SO MUCH better than this girl!!!! Rise above and look down on them and just laugh your butt off!!!
Best revenge is living a happy life.... right?!! :)
However, I am a good person. I do have a devlish side to me, but then we all do. I can think about doing something cruel and mean. But when it comes down to it, I just can't bring my self to that level. I am better than that. You all just remind me of that every day.
Once again. Thanks for your comments.
Yep, precisely what I meant.
My take-and it's just my take! NO you shouldn't. You'll be the one coming off like the scorned crayzy ex-wife.
Rise above the bs. Take the high road-you'll be glad you did.
Focus on making your self a new life-one that is happy and drama free.
Sending you support!
You shouldnt have to warn other women....if these women have men that are that weak to succumb to any woman outside of their marriages..that is on them. Sure, it takes two... but if the married man cant say no and respect his end of the bargain in a marriage, his "wife" really has nothing to do with that.
Shift the focus back onto you. He has shown you who he is...time for you to carve out the life you want for yourself, free of an abusive cheater.
Sending healing hugs your way...
Once the emotional side of you calms down, the rational side will take over and you will be ok with taking the high road and do will your daughter. (I think you have one, correct).
