I'm really not gonna talk in the third person as my thread title suggests, so here it is...one time only.
I apologize if I offended anyone by talking about tacos. My intention was not to offend anyone and I have never tried to intentionally hurt anyone in this support group. This place has helped me tremendously and I am thankful for finding it...
With that being said, I am not going to intentionally censor myself for the sake of others.
What I will do, is make a conscious effort NOT to use the term "tacos" in a thread where it has no place.
I joke with many people here, to alleviate the crap that has gone on in my marriage. Acting stupid has helped me get through this difficult time in my life and I'm pretty sure it has helped others who have participated.
I sincerely hope that my words or actions would not cause a person to leave this site.
Please just ignore me if you don't like me and I will make an effort not to use the term "tacos" when it interferes with a serious post. Actually I don't think I have ever done that, but still I will make the effort to use discretion.
I hope this clears things up for some. For others, I'm sorry if you don't like me...

I for one have never been offended and if I was I can choose to IGNORE you. Problem solved!
And if you use the word 'taco' and I see in it another meaning i.e. innuendo *snicker* that is on me. It is a word - not a vulgar word.
I for one do not want you to change...changing for anyone else is a disaster - take it from someone that has tried and tried and tried - it does not work!!
But hey we cant be liked be eveyone all the time.
When you post a thread, if I am not in the mood for the silliness, I do not read it.... If I am in the mood for it, then I do... When I open a post that looks like it is someone seeking support and in the responses people start this crap up, then yes, I get angry.... All we ask for is some respect and no, I don't think that is asking too much...
Couriers leaving had more to do with the blasting she got for making the statement that she finds the constant use of that term to be offensive.. there are some people on DS that need to learn how to make a point without resulting to obscenities!
The Only thing from you I ever disliked was the appology thread which turned out to not be an appology. It was a sort of invitation to the people who didn't like the language to open it, and then get blasted by it.
As for the attacks on you...I think they're unfair.
Your posts are far from the first to bother people. This kind of stuff has come up time after time on ds. People get close and form inside jokes and refer to them in thread after thread. Sometimes it really does get hard to get away or Ignore them.
That said, you've brought a lot of light and fun into my life. I've smiled on really tough days thinking about some of the jokes.

I wish they would see the many times you and your followers supported, comforted and prayed for others.
But as it is in life, people don't remember the good things about us. If something (heaven forbid) should happen to you, you will be remembered (by them) as the Taco guy and not the wonderful friend, amazing father and beautiful person that you most definitely are.
