What is the concensus...ask your lawyer...post your opinion...

1. Divorce lawyers have a high divorce rate because they have fresh meat always working through their practice

or

2. Divorce lawyers have a low divorce rate because they see the carnage of divorce every day and want to avoid it.

or

3. Divorce lawyers divorce rate is no different than any other occupation.

i vote for 2... bit i think thier rate is low because the are more careful than we are... they know what they can loose.. Either that or they are just more careful when they f'ck up!

I imagine a Divorce lawyer has the pre-nup in place and all there T's crossed and i's dotted. I would say #3 the same as everyone else , however I am sure the process is pretty much taken care of during the "I Do" stage :)

I would guess number one.

My opinion is a person would have to be perverted even to want to be a divorce lawyer.

I have a friend who is a corporate lawyer and I think he would rather work a hard factory job rather than deal with anyones divorce....so all lawyers arent bad I think.

My attorney & his wife have been married for probably 40 years...just guessing. They were both nurses in their previous lives. They keep their nursing cert. updated. But, now he is a compassionate yet avenging attorney and she his professional assistant. They are most likely VERY unique. Thrilled that I found this dynamic duo!

I have friends that are attorneys-fun to see attorneys as evil, but when you need them, they are the ones taking on your responsibilities. Takes a special temperment to do this.

STBX's uncle put himself through law school...took him Years, since he was married. He Finally attained his DREAM.

He even was appointed as a part time Judge.

He HATED it. Went back to his first career...

I vote for #3. I used to work in a law office for 6 years. They are human just as we are. They see alot of shit.... Anyway, I just don't think it is that much different than any other profession. They just get a bad rap.

BTW: Dentists have the highest rate of suicide. Go figure. Nobody loves to go see the dentist.

My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus). I read this as one of the signs of an allergy. BUT I did just buy a different brand diaper yesterday (which they have used randomly before w/no issues). Do you think its the cereal or the diaper?
