okay, so I've dealt with the stupid bank & home depot today, and have to wait until tomorrow to talk with them AGAIN about returning my money to my account. And I live in a freaking damp city, so NO GIN TO BE FOUND!!! I am forced to get happy on wine and Smirnoff Cranberry Lime malt beverage. And my f'in husband (June 25) is being an ASSHOLE.

mavsgirl..is the problem with the money the bank or home depot?

someone stole my checkcard number. The bank says to call Home Depot to push the charge through (it's currently pending, but in the process is tying up $2400), because the bank can't do anything while the charge is pending, only once it's cleared my account. Home Depot says to file a police report (which I did, but now have to file out a 10 page form, include all 3 copies of my credit reports, and have it notarized), before they can do anything... so here I am with the stbx hollering at me because over half the checking account is gone, and I don't know how they got my information to begin with.
crossing my fingers that the charge will go through tonight and the bank can take over from there.

Geez...I go away for a few hours and this thread takes on a mind of it's own...lol

Did I miss the workshop?

I got tied up with kids stuff and homework. The new Wii is working. The new garbage disposal is REALLY quiet. I lost at Uno again, and again, and again..... I have to get a physical for my daughter so she can go to camp. And I have to get this stuff sent in for my son's soccer today or he won't be playing in the fall, and his father will be Not Happy. Luke Skywalker fought and beat his father again. The lost stuffed animal was found. And the nintendo that my son was supposed to have taken away for bad behavior was found in his bed under a pillow (shocking....I know). But homework got done, spelling words practiced, laundry put away, dishes washed, dinner made, more laundry done.....

So now time for my homework again......

Patti, your life is a workshop! Walgreen's does the physicals for sports and camp for $35. They have evening hours, too. Take a deep breathe and start all over lol!
