thin mayo on one side
smoked gouda cheese
nice slice of sweet red or white onion
pickles (dill and garlic-y)
Heritage tomatoes sliced
cucumbers sliced
salt and pepper and a few dashes of tobasco sauce
smashed avocado spread on the other slice of bread... smoosh together and MANGE! EAT BABY EAT!

Another of my fav's is Lobster roll or shrimp or crab.
Mmmm... With the sammich above I can also add variations of sliced meat to give it something different... the only thing is that I remove the mayo and add a nice spicy mustard or a mix of mustard and something else.
Ooo I need food now!

2. The Ross sandwich from 'Friends'.....thanksgiving turkey, stuffing, and cranberry sauce with gravy. O-M-G.
3. turkey artichoke sammie at Panera on focaccia, made with carmelized onions.
I mean, two of the things that Philly's best known for -- cheesesteaks and hoagies -- are sandwiches, and they rule.
Damn. Now I want a cheesesteak.
