more like blows actually, I thought wind generation was a growth industry.

My ex's camp was overrun with the things. The things knew how to get Into the house, and drop down through the drop ceiling, but for all of my efforts I couldn't chase them back up the stairs. I could get them out the front door that was it.
Really really cute....and really really umm not smart. They're on the Protected List in PA (probably should be from themselves), so I didn't want to kill them. So I started trying to trap them (my ex thought I was nuts), so I got where I could capture the things in a cooking pot.

Just try that with a real squirel, you'd get your hand bitten off.

Then we were moving, and I was up there by myself. I had a car accident, a neighbor drove me home, and one of the things chose THAT night to drop down. I woke up to it beside me on the nightstand. They can carry rabies...so I ended up staying up all night unable to catch it...or sleep.

I swear the police officer thought I was on drugs when he called the next day to talk about the accident, and I was incoheriently talking about not sleeping, and squirels....so that's my flying squirel story.

(Oh and that particular squirels name was Stripe...yep I got to know them that well.)

We replaced the siding on the house...and they moved elsewhere..

Sorry to hear you were laid off. The gray squirrels here freak me out. They chewed through our plastic trash cans lids and drag our garbage everywhere......when I go out to take the dog out, they JUMP into the air from the hole in the lid and scare me half to death. We have a black squirrel in our yard every day. He is the one we like because he looks cool. lol.

@mouse: It was a growth industry when I started 2 1/2 years ago. They threw money around like it was nothing and couldn't hire people fast enough. My former company's competitors are doing pretty well (hiring in fact). I think my old company is just poorly run. They're #1 in the world, but are slipping to #3 in the US.

My cats thinking that squirrels are in my backyard for their entertainment. They sit behind the french doors and just yowl at them.
