OT: My Son's Been Shot

Please pray for my Marine son who was shot last night in Afghanistan. He is in serious condition with a stomach wound. That is all I know. Waiting for a update from the Marines.

Thank you again for all of your best wishes and prayers. I have not heard anything at all yet.....which is excruciating! Apparently it takes awhile to receive updates from Afghanistan. I will be calling the hot line number tonight. Thanks again.

My sister was killed at the World Trade Center on Sept. 11th, 2001, along with many other fine people. I am a member of the Families of 911, who try to extend care for those effected by that day in our history, We have the utmost regard for all the men in service of our country, and please accept our prayers for a complete and swift recovery and extend out gratitude to your son when he recovers.

My prayers and thoughts are with you. Please know you son is doing a job most would be terrified to do in fighting a war so far away. He is very brave, we thank him with our whole hearts for protecting all of us. Prayers, and many thanks for being a good mother and raising him to put others needs ahead of his own. Thank you. Kate

    My husband and I got our foster license last month, after 3 years of hard work (we had to start over multiple times due to family dramas and Mom's open heart surgery). We spent a year preparing the whole house, guest rooms, and children's bathroom for older kids of 7 yr old and up. Then we got a call that we have been approved to receive twin newborn premies. What, what?!! Babies!? Premies?!...
