I can't even look at him now, and I used to tell him everything. I would say we are definitely worse friends now.. but maybe friendship is a detriment to a romantic relationship and my ex just didn't tell me that?

It's the whole "you're not as smart as you thought" part that pisses me off. I thought the being friends part was the "holy grail" of relationship chapters.

On the other hand, I've been nursing along what was a hurting marriage for awhile now. When it's all you know, I guess you'll (I'll) make excuses for any bullshit thing that we encounter.

i don't know, my parents have a great relationship and they seem to also be friends.. same with my sisters and their husbands....they flirt, but they also talk, help each other out, call each other first when something happens, etc.

I seem to have found a correlation between former alter boys (and girl), and being fucking nuts...
DAB...the way I used to get chicks is to play dodge ball with them and aim for their butt...it works...

Yep..get that...lost mine and that hurts sooo bad..it suck to have nobody to talk to even about the smallest things. I cry for that but like others said...best friends don't do this to others and then make your life more miserable by causing more mental anguish to you on a daily basis.

when the dust had settled, i realized that losing the person i considered my best friend, that i thought would be there always as friends ... real friends are... was the part of the breakup that hurt the most... i still miss my friend so much and even find myself wanting to call and tell him something and then reality hits... i am nothing to him .. the friendship ended when he moved on... sucks it does
