Ya know Lola, It's my dream to buy 5-10 acres and create a self sustainable homestead. I want to grow organic vegies, have a few goat, maybe a cow and chickens... I love growing herbs... and cooking..
I even want to learn how to make cheese, like goat cheese..

Your living my dream...

I am in sunny Southern California..You should see the garden plot we tilled up..It is 17'x50'

But of course I have over 3/4 of an acre that I am not doing anything with..

If I could afford it I would get a cow and a goat, the people who live two houses down raise goats

LOL!!! Hey I actually did research on it and it's really not that hard. Fresh Mozzarella is pretty easy and it's yummy with fresh basil and tomatoes..

I have a 70 by 90 foot raised bed veggie garden I haven't had time to deal with. maybe this summer - I may have to dig out my chicken books......

Yeah, grandma made her own mozzarella all the time. God, I miss that. Dammit now I'm hungry.

We could start our own DS commune at Lola's . Live off the land. I can get a dairy goat from some friends.
