It just hit me. In 4 days I am leaving the house that we picked out to raise our family and grow old together in. He gets the house and I get the boot.
Not taking this well right this very minute. I have been so damn strong over the last 6 weeks. So why does it have to hit me now.
REALLY??????
What am I crying over. He left me emotionally years ago. He did what ever he wanted and left sitting home alone for years. He degraded me - wore me down to a nothing. He took all of my self confidence and flushed it down the toilet. He ordered me around like his personal secretary, whore, maid and nanny.
Ok, so it's not him thats bothering me.
It's the stinking house.
How do I get thru the emotionally attachment that I have with my house? This is a wierd one. Maybe - maybe not.
Please give me some emotional support over this one. I am being a little over dramatic? Or is this a normal reaction?

Thanks for sharing your stories with me. My move is final - alot of back braking - humping - hauling - pushing and pulling. But the big stuff is done. Need to unpack more boxes, but that is gonna take time because I am downsizing - getting rid of as much as can. Last night - when everyone was gone and my daugher was in her room. I sat on my couch - in my living room - watching my t.v. - and watching what I wanted (not what he demanded). It will take some time, but this will become my new home. I really thought that as I pulled out of the drive way of the old house - by myself - that I would be in tears (bawling) - but I wasn't - I have made peace with my move. Will I miss the dream of what could and should have been, "YES". However, I look forward to the future and what it holds for me. Because I know, great things are coming.

I lost a house once before too :( I'm so sorry. That was 8 years ago. It was such a beautiful house, and I loved it so much. I lost the house because of my exhusband who had moved out to go live with his skanky mistress (I was pregnant and without a job) He refused to make the payments, he refused to work with me to sell the house, it ended up in foreclosure. (Even after all that, I took him back. I was so stupid! We ended up divorced in the end.) I would suggest to do what you can to make your new place feel as home-like as possible. Decorate in your own taste, let it be all you. Just make it as comfortable as you like it.

My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus). I read this as one of the signs of an allergy. BUT I did just buy a different brand diaper yesterday (which they have used randomly before w/no issues). Do you think its the cereal or the diaper? Im ready to start...
